I think you need to do some remodeling like the kitchen.|Recommended: YesI would say don’t open your windows because it smells like dog poop outside, in the apartments it gets stuffy and when you try let fresh air in you can’t because it smells like dog poop outside. They have poor landscaping outside, they don’t keep up clean up the outside. Underneath the bathroom and kitchen sinks it has a foul odor, I try cleaning my place and no matter what I still smell a foul odor around my place. Parking outside, your car is not always safe, you have people stealing gas, and stealing cars.

Well-managed and I feel safe here|Recommended: YesBrighton Woods in east Anchorage is well managed. The property covers a lot of ground but the manager Andy and his associate Christy do a real good job staying on top of things including parking compliance, maintenance, security. There is visitor parking but it is not in front of the unit and you only get one space. However you do have a plug-in at your assigned space in my building. There's some storage available on-site. A service they provide that goes above and beyond what I'd expect is that Andy or Christy will deliver packages right into your apartment with your permission. Not only is this a convenience, it puts your mind at rest that your package is secure. Brighton Woods may be an older property but at least in my building, it's great because I don't have much noise at all from neighbors on either side due to good walls. I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. If I do decide to leave for whatever reason, I would consider another Weidner apartment because of Andy and Christy who actually prove they really do care about what matters to me because they actually fix or follow up on whatever I ask for help with. Did that surprise me Oh yeah. But each time I raise a concern or make a request, I get a quick response and then Andy or Christy take care of whatever. That has impressed me. So has our maintenance man Gene. I know he's helped me and I get the impression he provides a lot of help around here. Brighton Woods has a good feel.
Clean, quite property|Recommended: Yesnice apartments. very animal friendly grounds and staff My dog just loves Andy and Christy. They are very receptive to any concerns you may have, and act very quickly to take care of the problems. Then tenants are friendly and willing to lend a hand if need. I would recommend Brighton Woods to my friends and all pet lovers.

Decent apartments |Recommended: YesVery manageable. Sound barriers could be better, can hear my neighbors talking in certain rooms. But staff is helpful and when something needs to be fixed it's done very quickly. Issues however with leaking ceiling..happens if I fill the bathtub even past 1 3

My experience |Recommended: YesMy experience so far has been great. I'm in the military and its been a easy commute to work. My only complaint would be that if there is going to be maintenance on the parking lot there needs to be more of a heads-up to the tenants in advance, I couldn't move my car when they were going to paint due to the fact that I was leaving town the day they were doing it, and I received my notice the day before. Overall my experience has been good. My wife and I don't have any children and even know the apartments are small, the amount of space has been good for us.

Payments|Recommended: YesResidential portal seems to have issues with automatic payments, I thought I had it set up and my balance said 49.25 so I paid in full only to find out that I still owed 1150 on the 7th.
