It was a nice place to livesubmitted by Donna G. - |Recommended: NoIt seemed like a great place when I moved in 3 years ago. But building is falling apart. Many times outside "ceilings" and insulation has dropped to ground. Water is turned off many times. It's really gone downhill. With that said, the newest manager has made some great improvements. we used to have a real problem with rude, disrespectful kids from 5 to 18 years old and many using lobby as a meeting place. New manager seems to have stopped that which is so very nice. I am hoping and optimistic that the new manager is going to make this place a pleasant place once again. Of course, it must be hard when dealing with so many renters coming in and out and some very difficult ones. I am not sure that i would recommend this place at this time. I do think it is way over priced. I detest moving and all it involves but most likely will find a place that is a lot less expensive then this one come May when lease is up. If the rent wasn't so high I would probably stay.] Not sure on the rating of Noise below. the way it is worded. 5 houses would seem like a good rating but the way it is worded "can you hear your neighbors all too well" -- YESSSS my neighbors upstairs are like herds of elephants. I can't hang pictures or they may fall.
New manager, caring, working hard to make it a great place to live....(sorry over 10 words)submitted by Julia D. - |Recommended: YesThe floor plan is good, but the noise level with the connecting apartments is a problem. The sad thing is the people here don't seem to care. I know that it is not just here but all over Alaska. The pet problem with the owners not caring about picking up after their pets, some not even putting a leash on their dog. There is one owner in particular who doesn't put a leash on their chihuahua. This dog has gone after other dogs, and even people. But on the other side of it, I have been here three years. Just wish there was more two bedroom apartments. I may need to move after my lease is up just because of that. I don't need three bedrooms anymore. But on the upscale, it is a pretty good community, our manager is good, and will listen when you have a problem. Thank you
