On Monday, November 8, 2021, Weidner Apartment Homes, a real estate investment and property management company, acquired The Sawyer Apartments community in Dallas, TX. The community was previously managed by RangeWater Real Estate and was sold by IPA Texas. This acquisition marks Weidner’s third property in Dallas, fourth community in the Dallas metro, and 29th property in Texas.

The Sawyer was built in 2006 and is located at 3636 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX 75204, in the heart of the Uptown neighborhood. This urban community is spread into two separate parcels, The Flats and The Lofts. Between the two buildings, the five-story mid-rise property holds 178 units and sits on 3.81 acres within the West Village district, packed with over 100 restaurants, retailers, and entertainment options.
 

Residents enjoy living in one of The Sawyer’s 27 different floor plans of one and two-bedroom homes ranging from 593 to 1,405 square feet.
