The construction of 4th and Park Apartment Homes in Minneapolis MNWeidner Apartments Homes broke ground at the site for their new multifamily development, 4th and Park Apartments, in Minneapolis, MN. The site is over 265,000 square feet and will hold a 25-story mixed-use development of 350 units at the intersection of 4th Street and Park Avenue.

Upon its completion, 4th and Park Apartments will be one of the most well-appointed apartments in Minneapolis in the highly desirable, redeveloping Downtown East neighborhood. The location will provide residents immediate access to the vibrant downtown core and hot spots like The Commons public park and The Armory live music venue just blocks away. A unique element of the structure is it will feature a sky bridge that will connect to the U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings NFL team.

At the ground breaking event for the new development, Weidner’s V.P. of Public Relations and Government Affairs, Greg Cerbana, shared the following statement.

“On behalf of Dean Weidner and the entire team at Weidner Apartment Homes, we are pleased to bring another great project to the Twin Cities. Since investing in this market in 2013, we’ve acquired or developed several fantastic buildings that challenge the top spots within our portfolio.”

“Achieving a functioning housing ecosystem in Minneapolis that allows for quality, choice, and affordability for all residents is an important goal. Weidner is proud of our $110 million investment into this project and takes our role in adding more market-rate supply to the Twin Cities seriously. We are honored to help do our part as a private developer and look forward to adding these 350 new units to the overall housing stock of this great city.”

4th and Park Apartments is Weidner’s 25th multifamily community in MN and its seventh property in Minneapolis. The project’s construction will be a joint partnership with Weidner’s Complete Development team and Ryan Companies, and the building is expected to be move-in-ready by the first quarter of 2024.
