It’s great|Recommended: YesI’ve lived her for 8 years and things have improved. Maintenance responds within 24 hours. Love the pet friendly. Normal apartment living noises. Large beautiful grounds a lot to maintain but they do great.

First 2.5 months|Recommended: YesFor the most part everything has been good. We are still waiting for the clock on our stove to be fixed. We were not overly happy with the construction on the cement outside our front door which lasted for almost three weeks and no notice was given. I work early mornings or late nights and it made it inconvenient entering and leaving the apartment. It is very cool by the front entrance and we don't want to use what we think is a heater because it is dirty and are both allergic to dust, burning dirt is worse.
Great atmosphere but not kept up as well as could be.|Recommended: NoI love living in the community, and having a split level apartment. The rental office is helpful and they listen to any issues that come up. The utilities bills are much higher than expected due to slow upkeep of buildings since complex was built. Newer appliances that are energy conserving would have been much more appreciated.
Great place to live|Recommended: YesThis is a quite community even though there are kids and pets all around. It is very clean and well kept. I would recommend living here to any one.

Get what you pay for.|Recommended: NoIt's cheap. The parking stalls are too narrow so people are forced to use the visitor parking just to get their car doors open. There is no storage room for anything like bikes or tools.

Old and Simple|Recommended: YesIt's nice. Friendly neighbourhood, extremely pet friendly. Lots of green to walk your dog around. Houses are old, but has all the necessities so it isn't necessary to leave the home. Lots of amenities near by. Visitor parking is more limited. Maintenance is quick to get to you with great online services for requests. For an old house, the heating systems are great and a lot of lighting gets into the homes. It has everything you need.

Enjoy living here, great staff, quiet and friendly community|Recommended: YesWe have lived in Brentwood Heights for nearly a year now and have renewed our lease for another year. It's pet friendly and there are many places both on leash and off leash for walking dogs. All the staff are very friendly and professional. Grounds well maintained in summer and in the winter the sidewalks are cleared of snow and salted as soon as possible after a snowstorm. Being retired, it's nice not having to shovel snow. We like having in suite washer and dryer, air-conditioning, parking with plug-in and 24 7 maintenance. Being in a bungalow we have a nice sized patio with privacy wall to enjoy summer afternoons and evenings.

Love the property, staff service has been lacking to say the least|Recommended: NoSo first, the good. Coming from a 1-br studio in Bankview, the amount of space I get here is phenomenal. I have tons of storage and a room I don't even know what to do with. There's two dog parks within a five minute walk, which my 1-year old golden retriever adores. There's a spacious patio for the summer and there's always kids running around playing, which is nice to see. Now the bad. The service of the staff to this point has been meh at best and terrible at worst. When I arrived, the cabinet handles were covered in a sticky residue. The carpets were not in good shape, I've been pulling voluminous amounts of dirt out of it for over a month now. But those are really the small fish, there have been two things I have found to be especially egregious. Upon moving in March 1 , I discovered my patio had no fewer than seven sizable lumps of dog poop frozen onto it. I informed the facility super and Sheila of this, and was told it would be taken care of right away. So far so good. Two days go by before I realized nobody was coming. I took care of it myself. The poop had been frozen on the patio for so long that it had significantly stained fouled up the back quarter of the patio. I informed Sheila of this and requested it to be cleaned, which I was told would be possible once the weather warmed up'. This job requires a bucket of soapy water and scrub brush, and I cannot stress this enough, should have been handled before I was given keys. If there were seven lumps of turd on the living room floor, how long would I have to wait to expect service On March 16th, I emailed Sheila to inform her that my patio still hadn't been cleaned. This is her reply. I do apologize for the delay on the cleaning up of the patio. Our maintenance team was scheduled to do it today but apparently you have beat us doing it. Regarding the hosing down of it, we will have to wait for the weather to be a little warmer so ice won't accumulate on the patio. We thank you for your patience and if you have questions, please feel free to email or call us. Thanks, So a five minute poop and scoop takes over two weeks to book, for reasons unknown. The staff always seem to have time to smoke cigarettes in front of the office, and I'm literally less than 100 yards away. While I appreciate the appreciation of my patience, as you can now see, I have no more of it. I wish I could say this has resolved itself since, but you may have guessed it has not. The 2nd issue at play is the screen door. The screen was in deplorable condition upon my move in, but because it was still cold I really didn't notice it. As the weather warmed btw we've had shorts weather for the better part of three weeks - no risk of the patio icing up anymore, guys I started to barbeque, and Daisy likes to go outside. I like the ventilation as well. The screen does not. The screen does not stay in its tracks, the frame is bent, the screen itself is torn and does not seal out bugs in any useful way. I raised this issue on the first of April when I paid my rent, and again brought up the subject of my patio. I was told both would be handled, the patio either that day or the day after, and the screen probably by the end of the week. It's April 19th. I've lived here for the better part of 7 weeks. I've given the staff every opportunity to make this right. I do hope someone with either authority or some basic customer service skills reads this, because I do enjoy living here and I'd really like to enjoy everything I'm paying for. Thank you for your time, and thank you for being so pet friendly. I would recommend this place to a friend with a pet who needed an apartment. If they didn't have the animal concern, no. No I would not. And it's all staff related.
Office staff are willing to try to please people|Recommended: NoI would tell them that parking needs to be a bit wider and better snow removal every winter a day and old tenants should get the same price as the new tenants get so that it is more fair and more maintained staff to keep up the upkeep of the site
I enjoy the townhouse concept of living way better than a condo or apartment. I especially love the fact that we have 24 our maintenance service and the staff are prompt and professional.|Recommended: YesI like that I can park near my place and have a plug-in. Love having a patio. 24 maintenance service is a big plus for me. Staff in office are very professional and friendly. Even though I don't have an animal it is nice that I have that option for future opportunities. Was very pleased I have a new washer dryer and there is plenty of room for one person in a two bedroom place. The recent upgrade outside painting adds to the place looking so good.
