Great Location, Great Staff |Recommended: YesThis property is in an up and coming urban area, and is close to many restaurants, banks, grocery stores, etc. The fixtures are a little out of date, but are in working condition an upgrade would simply be for vanity . I have had a small problem seeing cockroaches, however the staff is very caring and ensures any requests are taken care of right the first time i get a pest treatment done once every 3 weeks which seems effective . This property is very nice for its pricing and location, especially considering the events the leasing office consistently hosts for residents. Every apartment has its problems, but it's great to have a staff that truly cares about it's residents comfort and happiness.

Great community and neighbors|Recommended: YesI really enjoyed my time living at Mirador. The neighbors are great, the management is friendly and responsive, and the community is safe, clean, and quiet.
I love where I live but little improvements could make it a lot better|Recommended: YesI love the landscape, I love they layout, I love the freedom. I love the hiking trails and the the wildlife. But inside the apartment, there are a few things I would change if I could. I have 5 windows in my apartment, and the largest 3 face directly west where from about 1-7pm every day during the summer, the sun just dumps into my home. The window insulation is very poor and my electric bill in the summer was more than people with 4 bedroom houses I have a 1000 sq ft apt on the middle floor, keep the temp between 80-85 and it is still rounding 250 mo. My microwave and dishwasher have been needed upgraded since I moved in the top rack doesn't wash at all, and the microwave has a loose piece of plastic on the door that was noted during my move-in. When I asked about the window sealing last summer, someone came to look but there is still a whistle coming from one improperly sealed window, and a very obvious strip of sealing that is dangling about a foot away from the wall on the outside of the building. My living room and bedroom floor have squeaky spots that I try to avoid so I dont bother my downstairs neighbor, and my upstairs has the same squeak. Walls allow loud bass from music in other apartments to come through, and every time my upstairs neighbor flushes the toilet, the noise coming through the walls wakes me up in the middle of the night its so loud. Sometimes I even get a sewage smell coming from the water. Overall despite these little things, i love it here. The staff has always been so wonderful and nice to me, maintenance is always fast and effective minus the window guys who are contracted separately , and the property is always clean and feels safe. The staff works extra hard to keep everyone here in the loop of maintenance or events in fact I think it's really sweet that they do a breakfast once a month and have family time events for residents as well. Of all the apartments I've lived in, this is the first to do this effectively, and I think it's really nice. If you guys do happen to see this, please feel free to call me to discuss the little things above that I mentioned. I may end up making a request when I have time in the next month or two anyway.

Appreciation for prompt repair replacement of air conditioning unit|Recommended: YesThanks to Jose and Jesus for a very professional diagnosis removal replacement of my air conditioning unit. I was impressed by their ability to work across several skill-sets plumbing, electrical, mechanical HVAC to complete the project. The new unit runs significantly quieter than the old one.

Great place to live |Recommended: YesI love living at Mirador apartments. Hands down best apartments I have ever lived in. Not too happy with the maintenance guy that did most my work orders. He loves to do things the lazy way without caring if he is doing a good job or not. Other than that, great place to live.

Little pricey for what they are, but overall, not bad. |Recommended: YesGreat location near a lot Beware of golf balls always lock car doors. Parking could be better but overall a decent spot to live. For being older apts and the condition they're in they shouldn't be so expensive. Lived in sister community Bela rosa in anthem payed about 20 more for garage more room and better quality of apt.
Dishonest management team.|Recommended: NoDO NOT RENT HERE. Libby and the management team will have your vehicles towed without investigating a situation first. The regional manager will tell you if you have a 1 or 2 bedroom you are allowed only 1 vehicle and all others are subject to be towed as they are not a storage unit which is not stated in their lease . They charge you late fees because they post the wrong amount to pay and fine you for there mistake and do not even tell you about it until 1 month later. They charge to have packages delivered and left in the office. You can hear everything that goes on with your neighbors. STAY AWAY from the place. LOOKS are deceptive

Wonderful location most of the staff is less than desirable.|Recommended: NoFor the most part I enjoy living at Mirador. Although there are moments when I question why I'm paying more than 1000 a month to live here. I've lived in an apartment my whole life so I'm speaking from experience in this review. The maintenance is the worst crew I've ever had to deal with. They never show up within a reasonable amount of time and when they do finally show up I feel like they cut corners. Today they said they would be doing an annual inspection and that they would be at my apartment between 9 and 5. I stayed at home today to make sure that my dog would be okay when they entered. Come to find out they skipped my building to be done an hour early. I know this because when I asked the lady in the office where they were at 4 15pm today she said they packed up at around 4pm. When I tried to tell the lady in the office how I felt she was very short and rude to me. She's always short and rude though. She gave me a hard time a few months ago because I was excited to see the new Star Wars movie. She told me she thought it was stupid that anyone would be excited for a movie that hadn't been released yet. Lee Castro, the manager seems nice on the surface but he always seems really stressed out and overworked. The new guy in the office is really nice. Although, about a month ago I spoke to him in regards to someone putting large amounts of trash in the pet receptacle by my apartment. The reason I mentioned it to him is because that time the person who was dumping trash dumped several large pieces of glass creating smaller pieces of glass in the process in the receptacle. I have photos. The next day a sign was posted stating that no one should be dumping their trash in that receptacle. However, by the end of the week someone had ripped the sign off the receptacle and then someone dumped their trash in there again. The sign was never replaced and someone keeps dumping their trash in the pet receptacle. Which leads me to believe that the person dumping their trash and the person who ripped off the sign are the same person. I feel like maintenance would be better if there were either more people on the team or if the people on the team were replaced with a better maintenance team. The apartment complex I used to live in had a total of four guys in a similar sized complex, and I never had any issues. In regards to how the place is managed, I think if Lee had more support from his team more like minded people like the new guy then he wouldn't be so stressed out all the time which could lead to the residents having a little more respect for where they live. I've never lived in an apartment complex where the residents disrespect a managers note in any regard especially to where trash should be dumped.
