I like this complex better then where we use to life so much quieter. |Recommended: NoI really enjoy living here except I have tried 3 Companies so far to get Cable TV and so far none of them can get coverage due to a large Pine Tree in front of my Patio. Since they can not put it on the roof I am not a happy person. Every time I ask the office if they can cut branches or do something so I can get coverage they say no. I am very disappointed in this and I do not believe this is right. I am not sure if I would suggest this complex to a friend or not.

Worst apartment ive ever rented|Recommended: NoYou never know what the monthly rent is going to be which is unacceptable to me. They don't accept cashiers checks or anything in person manager is super rude btw and the square footage is not worth the money. My cabinets are lopsided, outlets don't work, teenie tiny apartment with fixtures that are falling apart.

The base rent amount will stay the same each month and any variations can come from utility usage, late fees etc so if you have a a recurring payment set up it is important that the dollar amount has an allowance for this variance. Not so happy about the apartment|Recommended: NoExcept few positives like 5 swimming pools,moderate rent and nice staff there are several other issues that makes us unhappy. We are not happy due to the roaches, bugs in the apartment. The Pest control is outsourced to different company but they do not fix the problem permanently.

Love My Home |Recommended: YesI am very happy in Desert Horizon. I would love to say that I plan on resigning over and over until i get a house of my own. The staff is great everyone The few times i have had an issue everyone was helpful. Being honest i feel that the place is a great deal. My only issue i take is it feels old when it comes to somethings like the AC, the outlets look like they have never been changed. They function like that too... Yet if you call and ask they send someone to fix them, but I was told not all can be fixed and all are broken. So its something I am going to have to do on my own but its 15 min of work so not a biggie but if you are someone who dosnt know how to do it or cant... Its a huge issue. All and all I am very happy and its my home but just look at the model before you sign the papers is all. Make sure its something you can do.

To clarify regarding packages, we do still accept packages for residents but there indeed a size and weight limit as the community is not set up to receive larger packages etc. We do also have brand new parcel lockers where a resident can obtain a package after hours which has been very successful. With a credit card payment there is a processing fee that is charged by the credit card company and I am so sorry for any frustration that may cause as we have no control over that aspect with that particular form of payment and the entire processing fee is collected by the credit card company. Oasis in the Desert |Recommended: YesIts said that the little things and small gestures make big impact. I got to know this when I contacted the Administration office for a Maintenance work and when returned home there was sweet card with a candy attached to it Heart, Heart I loved the style. Its truly an Oasis in the Desert, a relief for the travelers. I enjoy the look and feel of the place and feel lucky to be part of the Weidner homes. ------Vishu Tyagi
Not satisfied|Recommended: NoThe AC heater makes loud noise and I have complained about it at the beginning of my stay ,also I didn't get good reception at the front office waterton and weidner both .I was charged 300 on my move out and am going to tell all my friends currently living at this community and am not going to recommend this place to any of my friends who enquire about this property.
