The Retreat- The Place to Be |Recommended: YesI really love living here at The Retreat on Speedway. Its minutes from my job which makes it very convenient. I also love the spacious size of the apartments. The pool looks amazing and it feels awesome Last but not least, the exercise room is good too. I wish there were equipment for leg press or leg lifts but the equipment here is fine. I would definitely recommend this complex to a friend.

Nice enviroment, good location.|Recommended: NoLiving here is ok. It is a pleasant community. Good location. Staff is nice to work with. Has a nice little gym. Draw backs are neighbors above are very noisy, you can hear everything any time they are home, can be very infuriating. Apartment inside needs remodeling counters doors and carpets are old.. You can tell it has had a lot of wear. Because of this, I feel the apartments are too expensive.
Decent, quiet|Recommended: YesIt's typical apartment living. I'm in the back of the property, so nice and quiet with little traffic noise.
Superb Community |Recommended: YesMy roommate and I have loved living here so far. Living quarters have been everything we can ask for and more. The only comment I would say is that to up train new staff members in the office. The gentlemen that helped us with showings, signing the lease and other things that come with renting out an apartment did not make it a swell experience. He was new and can tell, the only reason why I am stating this is to up train him on various job skills, mostly communication with different personilties. Thank you for making The Retreat at Speedway a fabulous place to live.

Good Complex|Recommended: YesIt's an apartment complex you can hear street noise from Speedway, and once in a while your neighbors will have a party, but for the most part, everybody's well-behaved and noise isn't intolerable. Parking has never been an issue for me you are given one assigned, covered spot, and everybody respects it. Maintenance requests are dealt with promptly and professionally, the office staff gets to know you eventually and is responsive to your needs. I love my apartment, it's roomy and well built.

Mice are a big problem right not sure if it is a priority to rid the property of same.|Recommended: NoThe blowers being used every Wednesday morning are a nuisance because they begin at 7 30 am or before. The people who are using them need to understand that the entry door to apartments isn't always the best fitting so it blows leaves under the door into my apartment. It was almost a month before management understood that I had mice inside my apartment even though I notified them immediately upon seeing them. Management has no compassion for those that may have to move before their lease is up and will not work through anything with them. Even though I am in my 16th month of renting here management will not work with me on their demand to collect every cent they can because I am moving before the end of the 18th month. You can send the final bill to my forwarding address and I will pay same but I must say that if asked by anyone I will tell them to be very aware of this. And now, after being here for awhile you want to come in and analyze the vent system. Please. When I went to the office to ask for filters the maintenance gave me a single filter that was 20 X 20 which fit half of the return air grate. I bought my own and still had to settle for ones that were too small for the opening.

I am so sorry if there was any confusion regarding the early termination fee (it is listed out in your signed lease agreement and added as a courtesy for instances such as yours as when you sign, you willingly agree to be rent responsible until the end of the lease term). I am glad to hear that the on-site team did try to work with you months in advance and offered to set up a payment plan for you. If the fee has not yet been paid, I do suggest connecting with the onsite team to make a payment before the debt is sent to collections.
