Weidner's Colorado Springs associates came together for their 2026 Weidner Cares Day at the Catholic Charities Hunt Family Campus, putting their time, talents, and skills to work on projects that will make a lasting difference for the local community.

Our annual Weidner Cares Day gives associates in each region an opportunity to partner with a local organization and give back through a full day of service. This year, more than 80 Colorado Springs associates worked side by side to support Catholic Charities and help improve the spaces where the organization provides essential resources, housing, and support to individuals and families facing hardship.

With so many associates working across the campus, teams tackled a wide range of projects in a single day. Associates landscaped and planted flowerbeds, spread mulch, installed gravel and rock, improved grading and drainage, painted, and completed other property improvements. These projects refreshed and maintained the campus while addressing work that requires valuable time, labor, and resources. The day also gave associates a chance to put the skills they use every day at Weidner to work in service of a local organization.

KRDO NewsChannel 13's Absolutely Colorado joined the team and shared the day's work, giving the Colorado Springs community a look at Weidner Cares in action.

Thank you to Catholic Charities for welcoming our team, and thank you to every Colorado Springs associate who dedicated a day to helping others.
