\nSummer in Seattle might just be our best-kept secret! As residents know and tourists soon learn, Seattle sparkles in the summer, and so do our pools. Here are a few safety rules and pool etiquette reminders, then we'll explore some fun excursions to keep you cool in and around Seattle. <\/p>\n
Safety Rules and Etiquette by the Pool<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n- Please pay attention to the hours of operation for the pool and spa areas, which are set by the management team and designed for your safety and for the courtesy of all Weidner residents.<\/li>\n
- Residents must be 14 years of age or older to use the pool without the supervision of a Resident who is at least 18 years of age or older. All residents between the ages of 14 and 17 must use the buddy system (two residents at a time) when using the pool or spa.<\/li>\n
- You must be at least 18 years of age and legally responsible (able to give consent for medical aid) for anyone under the age of 14.<\/li>\n
- Management must be made aware of instances where a resident entertains more than two (2) guests at one time. Residents must accompany, and stay with their guests. No adult shall supervise more than three minors at one time.<\/li>\n
- There is no lifeguard on duty! It is the responsibility of every resident to monitor their own and their guest's behavior and to observe safety rules at all times.<\/li>\n
- Glass containers are prohibited in the pool, spa and deck areas at all times. Please use plastic containers only.<\/li>\n
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the pool and deck areas.<\/li>\n
- Residents are responsible for cleaning up their trash before leaving the pool and deck areas. Please be considerate of others who are using or are going to use these areas.<\/li>\n
- Diapered children will not be allowed in the pools at any time. Running, screaming, playing loud music or acting in a boisterous manner is prohibited in the pool, spa and deck areas.<\/li>\n
- Jumping on or off of any item of furniture, retaining wall, fence or pool rails will not be tolerated. Diving into the pool is not allowed.<\/li>\n
- Please do not bring floating air mattresses or inflatable toys around the pools and deck areas for safety reasons.<\/li>\n
- Pets are not allowed in the pool, spa or deck area at any time, with the exception of service animals.<\/li>\n
- Please do not wear any thong bathing suits, jeans, cut-offs, or street clothes in the pool. Wearing clothes in the pool will absorb the chlorine that keeps the pools clean.<\/li>\n
- Persons suffering from any illness or communicable disease may not use any pool at any time.<\/li>\n
- Smoking is prohibited in the pool areas at all times.<\/li>\n
- All residents and guests are required to shower before using the pool or spa.<\/li>\n
- Safety equipment is only to be used in an emergency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

A combination of balance, nature and paddle boarding, this excursion will keep you cool and fit.
