\nWhether you're a fan of horror films, campy costumes, or you just like passing out candy to the kids, there's something for everyone in Seattle this Halloween.<\/p>\n

Here's a sampling of events and venues all committed to making this Halloween a "spooktacular" experience:<\/p>\n

It's pumpkins galore at the Pumpkin Picking & Fall Fun Festival<\/strong> <\/a>event at Bailey Vegetables. Enjoy the wagon rides, hot cider and kettle corn — all fairly low on the scary, spooky scale. October weekends, 10-5pm. This event is free.<\/p>\n

Party for a cause and head over to Studio 7 in SODO for the Black Cat Bash<\/strong><\/a> including a costume contest, DJ, dancing, food trucks, and a prize drawing with all proceeds going to the Seattle Humane Society. October 22 at 9p.m. This event is $32 to $79. <\/p>\n

This is Halloween Cabaret Show <\/strong>is <\/strong>where you can enjoy a retake on Tim Burton's classic "The Nightmare Before Christmas," Halloween-style. The spooktacular orchestra plays on in this campy, burlesque-style cabaret about the "horror of fixed identities." Triple Door, October 21-31, $32-47<\/p>\n

Try one of these 17 Halloween Parties<\/strong> <\/a>– or all of them if you have that kind of spooky stamina!  From Gothic to the good old-fashioned costume party, there's something for everyone on this list. <\/p>\n

Harvest Festival <\/strong><\/a>at West Seattle Junction is an event that has become a community staple for celebrating the changing seasons and Halloween. Dress the kids up for the trick-or-treating that starts at noon. Costumes, prizes and a chili cook-off round out this fall extravaganza. October 30, 10am to 2pm. The Walking Dead fans will appreciate this event.<\/p>\n

Join in on the Zombies Ambush Halloween Pub Crawl<\/strong> at Hammering Man, outside the Seattle Art Museum on October 29, 2-8pm. You can follow the zombie route on Twitter @SeaPubCrawl. <\/p>\n

Come visit the Georgetown Haunted History Tour! <\/strong>Georgetown is hosting its 12th<\/sup> annual Halloween walking tour with a frightful theme of planes, trains and automobiles, with a party and live music to follow. Tours depart on the half hour, beginning at 6:30 and ending at 8:30. Tickets are $12 to $25. <\/p>\n

Check out Tricks, Treats and Science Feats at the Pacific Design Center <\/strong>where you can touch a brain, indulge in some bone-chilling storytelling, create your own gooey slime or magic potions, and watch the planetarium show at this fun family event. Free for members. Or, invite a few friends over to your own spooktacular apartment for a fright-night movie party.
