On February 22, 2017, The Washington Multi Family Housing Association (WMFHA) held their second annual Emerald Awards, honoring top performers in Property Management in Eastern Washington. We are proud to announce that Jessica Fowler received the prestigious and well-deserved Community Manager of the Year award in the 150-plus apartment homes category. Nearly 300 attendees gathered at the Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane, WA to honor their colleagues and peers. The festivities began with a reception, followed by a gourmet lunch and the awards program- all in the spirit of recognizing superior performance. The role of Community Manager is a challenging and demanding role that requires intuitive multi-tasking, combined with excellent time management and a deep appreciation for our residents. At Weidner, we know our success depends on our best people, delivering their very best to our residents, and we couldnt be more pleased to congratulate Jessica on her award. Jessica Fowler started with Weidner Apartment Homes on Sept 2, 2012 in the Anchorage, Alaska region. Jessica began her career in property management as a multi-site Leasing Consultant at College View Apartment Homes (98 units) and Rancho Tudor Apartment Homes (60 units). Jessica loves interacting with residents and helping others and realized early that this was the industry for her. Jessicas hard work paid off when she seized the opportunity to join the Weidner Apartment Homes Manager in Training program. As part of the Manager in Training program Jessica worked with an experienced multi-site manager & was directly responsible for Deer Park Apartment Homes (120 units) and Quiet Creek Apartment Homes (36 units). Based on her stellar performance in Weidners Manager in Training program, Jessica quickly graduated & was promoted to Community Director of Montclair Apartment Homes (48 units) and Driftwood Apartment Homes (40 units). In 2014 Weidner purchased Russian Jack Apartment Homes (136 units) and Jessica was selected to welcome the residents to the Weidner family. After successfully integrating Russian Jack Apartments into the Weidner management philosophy, Jessica relocated to Wenatchee, Washington where she took the reigns of Riverside 9 Apartment Homes. Riverside 9 gave Jessica the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a new development & lease-up community. As a bonus, Jessica fell in love with the nearby mountains, rolling hills, and picturesque landscapes of Wenatchee and the Eastern Washington region. In her free time, youll find Jessica exploring & hiking with her pup Kenai or snowboarding at one of the nearby resorts.
