[Wenatchee, WA, April 3, 2025] – Weidner Apartment Homes, a real estate investment and property management company based in Kirkland, WA, is introducing two downtown developments in Wenatchee: The Majestic Apartments on the corner of S Mission St and Yakima St and the revitalization of the Old Wenatchee Jailhouse at the corner of Kittitas St and S Wenatchee Ave.

The projects aim to revitalize the downtown core by providing new, quality housing options and expanding Wenatchee’s business and entertainment offerings. The Majestic began construction in mid-January and will be completed in Summer 2027. The Jailhouse revitalization will start construction in the Fall of 2025 and will open simultaneously with The Majestic.

The Majestic will be a landmark development, making a bold statement for Wenatchee’s future as the centerpiece of downtown’s redevelopment. It will be a seven-story, mixed-use development with 212 units, including 11 live-work spaces on the ground floor and 100 public parking spaces in the community’s parking garage. The building will feature a grand Art Deco theme, complemented by luxury amenities, including a fitness center, a clubroom, and a deluxe rooftop deck. The floor plans include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, ranging in size from 402 to 1,412 SF and featuring high-end finishes.

The Jailhouse project includes 15,000 SF of retail space on S Wenatchee Ave. As part of the project, the existing Jailhouse will be renovated and revitalized to allow for food and beverage use. Additionally, the project will deliver two new retail buildings on either side of the Jailhouse. The project will offer enhanced curb appeal and walkability with wide, landscaped sidewalks connecting the retail buildings and The Majestic while honoring the block’s history by restoring the Jailhouse’s existing exterior.

“Weidner has a 15-year history of developing housing within the Wenatchee Valley, and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Both city staff and residents share the goal of encouraging economic development within the downtown core while preserving the area’s strong sense of community and character. Weidner is excited to be part of that growth.”
