Whether you're a fan of horror films, campy costumes, or you just like passing out candy to the kids, there's something for everyone in Seattle this Halloween.
Here's a sampling of events and venues all committed to making this Halloween a "spooktacular" experience:
It's pumpkins galore at the Pumpkin Picking & Fall Fun Festival event at Bailey Vegetables. Enjoy the wagon rides, hot cider and kettle corn — all fairly low on the scary, spooky scale. October weekends, 10-5pm. This event is free.
Party for a cause and head over to Studio 7 in SODO for the Black Cat Bash including a costume contest, DJ, dancing, food trucks, and a prize drawing with all proceeds going to the Seattle Humane Society. October 22 at 9p.m. This event is $32 to $79.
Try one of these 17 Halloween Parties – or all of them if you have that kind of spooky stamina! From Gothic to the good old-fashioned costume party, there's something for everyone on this list.
Harvest Festival at West Seattle Junction is an event that has become a community staple for celebrating the changing seasons and Halloween. Dress the kids up for the trick-or-treating that starts at noon. Costumes, prizes and a chili cook-off round out this fall extravaganza. October 30, 10am to 2pm. The Walking Dead fans will appreciate this event.
Join in on the Zombies Ambush Halloween Pub Crawl at Hammering Man, outside the Seattle Art Museum on October 29, 2-8pm. You can follow the zombie route on Twitter @SeaPubCrawl.
