Thanks to YouTube and TikTok, we have discovered so many amazing cleaning hacks that work wonders. We have discovered several exciting new ways to get the job done faster and use significantly less energy. Here are some of our favorite apartment cleaning hacks that we are confident you will love.
Use Shaving Cream To Eliminate Water Stains
If you forgot to squeegee your shower doors or wipe down your mirror after getting water on it, shaving cream will quickly fix it. Simply apply the foam to the affected area, let it sit for fifteen minutes, then wipe it away to be left with water-spot-free glass!
Repurpose Dryer Sheets
Did you know that you can use dryer sheets for so much more than laundry? They, too, can buff water spots, remove the ring inside the toilet, and wipe baseboards clean.
Clean Your Blender From The Inside
Are you tired of handwashing your blender and dealing with sharp blades and hard-to-reach places? Next time you use your blender, simply fill it with warm water and some dish soap and let it run for a few seconds. Run it under some warm water, and it should be all clean!
Use Tape or a Lint Roller To Pick Up Dirt
After sweeping the floor, you might be left with some small pieces of dirt or debris that you simply can’t pick up. Next time this happens, grab some tape or a lint roller to clean it up quickly.
Pick Up Broken Glass With Bread
If you drop and break a glass or plate, don’t use your hands to pick up the pieces. Instead, sweep up the big pieces, then grab a slice of bread and gently press it down on the area; it will pick up all the little bits that you might have missed.
Use a Magic Eraser on Just About Anything
Magic erasers have that name for a reason; they simply are magic! These awesome cleaning tools can be used on just about anything, including shoes, bathtubs, sinks, etc. Magic erasers are a great investment, but you can also find off-brand versions that work just as well at a lower cost.
